Help with Rc/Nitro cars!?

Hello my name is Josh I will need a detailed answer thanks

I am the owner of a Hpi e10 and ive spent about £100 on it on upgrading about $150 It cost e $200 to buy so ive spent about 350 all together on it its an electric car only about 20-30 mph

It broke the other month and its beyond repair the esc Is faulty

I thought to myself instead of keep replacing and spending 100's of dollas why dont i Get an Nitro based car,

Ive looked at onroad and offroad like from hpi racing.com

Like the baja sets and so on

I would say i have about $250 to spend on a rc nitro
Ime looking for something super fast ive seen sets go up to 60+ mph
I wont overpower myself ive controlled Nitro rc befour and it was fine

I just need some lists of cars models that you recomment

Thanks josh

Hi Josh,
Sorry to know that you wasted so much money on repairs, definitely feels bad.
The best Nitro Cars would be the CEN CT5-S models:
http://www.toptenservices.net/2009/04/24/top-ten-rc-nitro-gas-racing-cars/
The Top 6 in the list are the CEN that can go upto a whooping 75 mph. Secondly, I really don't understand why people have to buy the electric rc cars .. they are a pain in the rear.
Nitro rc cars are the best!

I haven't owned any HPI stuff, but if you want fast, the traxxas jato 3.3 is the way to go. first time i ran it, i crashed…hard! its hard to control being a 2wd and extremely quick. Now I can control it and its a blast to drive on the streets. It has the maximum speed of 65mph, but i doubt i ever got it to go that fast. You won't regret this car. the part support is amazing. I also own a revo 2.5 and t-maxx 3.3 - both 4wd trucks. they are not as fun being slower cars!
